N.D. Protest: How DARE Notre Dame honor Barack Obama.

ProtestOn Graduation Day at Notre Dame, May 17, the Pro-Life Action League and Citizens for a Pro-Life Society are joining forces for a massive protest of President Obama’s commencement address.

The protest day will include two components:

  1. 10:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m: A Face the Truth Tour will be held off campus along Angela Boulevard and Michigan Street in the hours leading up to commencement.
  2. 2:00 to 3:00 p.m.: Protesters will join the prayer vigil taking place on campus during the commencement ceremony.

Buses to South Bend on May 17 will be leaving from three locations throughout Chicagoland. The cost for a seat on the bus is $20, which includes lunch. Buses departing from Chicago will return to their point or origin at approximately 5 p.m. Central Daylight Time. Register now to reserve your seat:

Register to ride on a protest bus from Michigan

Buses will leave at 6:30 a.m. Sunday morning from the Exit 55 Park and Ride on the east side of M23 (map). Exit 55 is about 20 minutes north of Ann Arbor and about 5 minutes south of I-96. Buses will arrive back to their point of departure by 7 p.m.

The basic cost of a seat on the protest buses from Michigan is $27 per person, with discounts are available for students and families as well as priests, religious, and seminarians. Bus fare includes lunch.
